The Shirley Wind farm to the south east of Phanes Bay is used as a major power source for the city. The Shirley Wind Farm was built before the war and consisted of eight turbines. Since that time, three have broken, and the remaining five are operated by a small crew of engineers. The wind farm is able to run on its own, so the engineers don't have to do much besides routine maintenance. The military keeps troops posted at the wind farm to protect the turbines and the technicians. Though this is considered to be an easy job as well, since it is an unlikely target to be raided. The military will also do routine inspections of the power lines running from the wind farm to the city and send repair crews to maintain the lines. The power from the Shirley Wind farm is used to power many of the factories within the city. Many of the soldiers don't enjoy being stationed at the wind farm as a rumor is going around that the turbines cause terrible headaches. Though the engineers are confident that the turbines have no adverse effects.
